How We’re Serving the Community
Lusk Eye Specialists has been a name you trust when it comes to eye health and vision in Shreveport and throughout the Ark-La-Tex. We want our community to know that our commitment to them is unwavering despite these challenging times.
We’re fortunate and grateful to let everyone know that we are still seeing patients at Lusk Eye Specialists. Whether you’re visiting us for the first time or have known us for years, we want your appointment to be as safe as possible. To that end, we’ve taken a great number of precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone who comes through our doors. If you’d like to make an appointment, please call (318) 222-5555 and we’ll be happy to assist you.
How We’re Keeping You Safe
With patients coming from far and wide, we’re taking the necessary precautions to provide for the health and safety of our staff and our patients. Our offices are compliant with recommended guidelines and we have taken the following additional measures that we’re confident will help keep our community safe.
- Temperature and exposure checks at the front door.
- Sanitizing exam rooms between each patient.
- Limiting occupancy of common areas.
- Protective equipment installed on every instrument in the exam rooms.
What to Expect at Your Visit
The next time you visit the team at Lusk Eye Specialists, you can rest assured that every detail of your experience will still be the top priority for our team. We’re still the team of compassionate, dedicated, eye care professionals you and your neighbors trust with your eye health and vision.
In times like these, we will need a little extra cooperation on your end. On the day of your visit, wear a mask and prepare for a temperature check at the front door. If you are not feeling well or think you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please call to reschedule your visit. We completely understand and are almost always able to reschedule your appointment for only a short time in the future.
As mentioned before, we require that you wear a face mask for the duration of your visit. Also, please limit the number of people you bring with you to any appointments. We know that there are instances where you may need to be driven home after an eye procedure, so please speak to our receptionists ahead of time about any arrangements you might need to make.
We know that things have been changing every day, but the one thing that won’t is our commitment to the people of Shreveport and the Ark-La-Tex. We’re still here for you, and we appreciate your support and cooperation.
